Grace Lutheran School uses several criteria to determine whether to accept a child’s application for our school. Since class sizes are limited, we give additional weight to applications with these characteristics, and in this order:
- Siblings of students who are already enrolled
- Applicants whose families are members in good standing of Grace Lutheran Church
- Applicants whose families are members in good standing of sister congregations in the Church of the Lutheran Confession
- Families who are interested in providing their children with a Christian education
Grace Lutheran School does not discriminate against any applicant based on race or national origin. We welcome students of all races and ethnicities as equally created in God’s image and loved by Him.
Students must have turned age 5 by September 1st of the current calendar year for enrollment into our K-5 program.
Enrollment Procedure
Grace Lutheran School will hold two meetings with a prospective family before the enrollment of a child is approved.
At the first meeting, we would discuss the following:
- The role that Grace Lutheran would play in the child’s life
- Tuition and possible financial aid
- Answer any initial questions from the parents
- Walk through tour of the school
If the prospective family wishes to proceed, then the reading of our school handbook is mandatory before a second and final meeting would be scheduled.
At the second meeting, we would discuss the following:
- Review the school handbook and any related questions
- Final tuition costs and payment plan information
- Meet our Pastor
- Distribution of school information/Signing paperwork
